Jeff Brooks
Bailiff - Deputy Clerk
Jeff Brooks has been a certified law enforcement officer since 1981. He retired from the City of Upper Arlington in 2010, where he served as a street officer, detective, and police/fire specialist. From 2012 to 2016, he worked as an investigator for the State of Ohio and has served as Bailiff for Sunbury's Mayor's Court since that time. In his current role he serves as Court Bailiff and Deputy Clerk.
Casie Newsome
Probation Officer - Program Coordinator.
Casie Newsome graduated from the Marion Technical College Peace Officer Training Academy in 2001 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Ashland University in 2016. She has extensive experience in court and probation work, as well as in law enforcement and corrections, in Morrow, Knox, and Marion Counties. Officer Newsome serves as the Probation Officer and Program Coordinator for Mayor's Court and assists Officer Brooks with courtroom security. Additionally, Officer Newsome is a part-time Sunbury Police Officer.
